A year of events to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Great Flood

Donations Made to Other Charities

 

An important by-product of Flood 400 is the raising of money for “watery” charities, i.e. charities connected in some way with water.

SARA (Severn Area Rescue Association) — £396.89, collection from the Service of Commemoration

 

Water Aid — £440.89, collection from the “Killer Wave” talk.

 

RNLI — £226.10, collection from the Festival Act of Worship

 

The following are to receive £250.00 each as a share from the Exhibition Weekend, “Looking Back to Look Forward”:

Air/Sea Ambulance has been nominated as the charity for the “What Caused the Flood?” talk in September.
