Dr Kevin Horsburgh of the National Tidal Sea Level Facility will speak on recent research and computer modelling of the causes of the 1607 flood.

The Welsh Baroque Orchestra directed by Andrew Wilson-Dickson will give a concert on early instruments, to include Andrew Wilson-Dickson’s new work “Greenhouse Effect”, Rebel’s “Les Eléments” and Locke’s “The Tempest”.

The First Climate Change

Evidence for the Biblical Flood, and post-flood changes in the

Severn Estuary

Goldcliff Church

A talk by weather forecaster Andrew Sibley, looking back at the biblical flood and changes that have occurred since then, and giving a balanced view of how climate change could affect our future. Andrew Sibley works for the Meteorological Office in Exeter, and has been a weather presenter on local radio including Radio Wales. He is also a member of the Creation Science Movement, a British organisation that was established in1932 to protest about the influence of Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. Today the Creation Science Movement continues to uphold the scientific and biblical case for creation.

 

Admission free. A collection will be taken for the Christian Aid Asia floods appeal. Complimentary glass of wine.

 

Directions: Just over 1 mile from Nash, driving towards Goldcliff, the church is behind the Farmer’s Arms pub on your left. Limited parking is available in the pub car park, additional parking available on the lane.
